One third inch colour DSP cameras from Rainbow have been installed to provide security throughout the network of bus stations in a new rapid transit bus system in Mexico City.

Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies installed a unique biometric verification system comprising of both 3D face recognition and iris recognition at the Swiss bank Pictet & Cie Banquiers to enable secure access to 1,500 employees.

The system in Accra used Pelco Esprit integrated ptz and static cameras linked to Bosch Video Jet and VIPX video encoders which provide dual stream encoding for local and remote monitoring.

Trackside CCTV surveillance has been installed by IC2 at Silverstone to give operators in the control room “enhanced workable footage” to protect circuit staff and race fans.

Blenheim Security Installers has provided a Lilin digital CCTV solution to automotive engineering firm TVR Power. IP cameras were mounted at different locations to ensure a thorough view of the site, and include the PIH-2346 model, along with PDR-3160 model 16-channel DVRs.

PureTech Systems’ PureActiv wide area video surveillance technology is to be used in a major project for the Halifax Port Authority Command and Control System in Halifax, Canada. PureActiv will provide capabilities including land and waterside object detection, object classification, camera steering and video management.

Integrator Technozavod Marusic kd has installed an IP-based system from Videotec for an oil pipeline project stretching from the Serbian border to the Adriatic Sea. The first of five stages includes 100 fixed IP cameras, Videotec IR300 infrared illuminators and 14 Videotec Ulisse positioning units with Sony cameras.

Fabricom GTI’s Security Division has partnered with IndigoVision on the successful six-year networked CCTV system project at Brussels International Airport. The 700-plus camera system was installed using the airport’s existing LAN and interfaced to the Airport Management System.

The Department of National Palaces in Turkey has installed the first in a series of new security systems using Milestone software and Axis network cameras. The system is in place at Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul, and the XProtect IP video software manages over 200 Axis cameras.
