Made from durable stainless steel and ABS plastic, the Impro Dropbox is suitable for use internally and externally, although remote exits such as those found in secure car parks have the most to benefit.
In a typical installation, visitors to the site are provided with a proximity tag and, when leaving the premises, push the tag into the Dropbox reader located at the exit. The tag is then read as normal and, if verified, exit is granted, but the card is retained in the Dropbox unit. They can then be re-used.
