IP kits appeal to installers

The VIP-Kit is a plug ‘n’ play entry level solution that provides a neat, packaged solution for smaller businesses. It is said to be simple to use and contains all the key features that customers in this category require, for a maximum of 16 cameras.

Visitors says that visitors to IFSEC 2008 were “impressed with the kit’s ease of use and the extensive features available on such a moderately priced solution”.

The VIP-Stream suite of products is aimed at top-end installations where greater functionality is required. Like the VIP-Kit, it is available with a range of cameras including PowerDome2, ProtosV, VFD static domes and vandal resistant and impact resistant domes.

Graphica2 IP is a user friendly, graphical based management system with an open architecture allowing the user to plug in a range of Vista equipment including DVRs, the products in the VIP-Kit and the VIP-Stream range, and many 3rd party manufacturers’ IP equipment.

Said Andrew Pigram, Vista brand director: “The concept of the different kits really appealed to installers because it simplifies the choice and immediately provides them with the equipment they need.

“With the confusion surrounding IP in the industry, it’s important that manufacturers make the process as clear as possible to ensure that IP can be successfully adopted where the application best suits it.”
