Judge Mr Justice Fulford QC ordered each of the men, aged between 25 and 29, to serve a minimum of 40 years behind bars.
At Woolwich Crown Court on Monday the men were convicted of attempting to blow up three tube trains and a bus using homemade bombs, as part of an al-Qa’eda-inspired attack.
Jurors rejected claims that the bombs were dummies and that the incident was merely a protest against the war in Iraq.
Two others, Manfo Kwaku Asiedu and Adel Yahya, face a retrial after the jury failed to reach a verdict on their involvement. Both deny conspiracy to murder.
