A film crew from the BBC’s natural history unit used Derwent’s SuperLED to obtain broadcast-quality footage of tigers in the Sundarban Forest in Bangladesh.
The forest is home to 400 tigers out of a global population thought to be below 3,000.
The BBC team is making a series of documentaries about the Ganges. The project will also help local conservationists understand more about the tiger’s night-time activities.
– Ioimage has been singled out as a ‘market leader’ by IMS Research, which claims it has an estimated 26 per cent of the total worldwide market for intelligent video surveillance devices.
Frost & Sullivan has also selected ioimage to receive its2006 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Growth Strategy and Leadership.
