Particularly interesting is your desire to see in-house security operatives licensed. We have found evidence that larger Facilities Management companies have advised selected clients to ditch their contract security suppliers post-20 March and turn to in-house provision, thus avoiding regulation altogether. If this is not a good example of flouting the law I don’t know what is.
To my mind, the sooner in-house security operatives are subject to regulation like their cousins in the contract sector the better.
