Common housing
GardTec has expanded its eurosec range of movement detectors with the V40 pet immune model. The V40 gives coverage of 12m and incorporates full pet immunity up to 33kg. It has a microprocessor that has been designed and programmed specifically for troublesome residential applications with pets.
The eurosec PIRs share a common housing as well as white light protection, selectable pulse count and automatic temperature compensation. The detectors are also available in PIR, quad and dual technology versions.
The eurosec brand also extends to control panels, accessories and the recently-launched XS7 external sounders.

78 detection zones
Optex Europe’s dual technology MX Series includes the MX-40PT, a 12m pet immune model which combines PIR and microwave in one compact, attractive and easy-to-install package.
All the models have 78 detection zones, and spherical lens focused optics give coverage of 85 degrees. The all-digital MX Series also incorporates patented technologies such as Quad Zone Logic, Advanced Digital Filtering and Microwave Area Shaping to keep false alarms to a minimum.
Furthermore, an Anti-Crosstalk system overcomes interference from other microwaves when several detectors are in the same area.

No compromising
The K9-85 allows free movement for animals up to 85 lbs, says Visonic. This model is part of the NEXT range, whose detectors use digital technology to offer ‘greater reliability’ and reduce the number of false alarms without compromising detection capabilities.
Due to its optical system, NEXT products are intended to give comprehensive all-round coverage, with faster detection and no dead spots. Furthermore, Visonic’s 3D lenses need less adjusting, keeping installation time to a minimum.
The NEXT detectors are all in the same compact and stylish housing, making them easily interchangeable.
