The two models provide dual streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG compressed video.
Says the German-based company: “In the past, analogue cameras were merged over IP video servers in LAN/WAN. Now complete network camera projects can be realized with these new cameras.”
MPEG-4 provides a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels (at 15 fps) and MJPEG provides a maximum of 640 x 480 (at 30 fps).
The high definition makes them suitable for public space surveillance or use in the industrial field, says Convision.
Both the CCD model (CC-7300) and the CMOS model (CC-7100) use Power over Ethernet, said to ensure a “fast and simple” installation.
