As a result, Alpha 3 Alarm CableLok high security devices have been installed on goods in all House of Fraser and Selfridges concessions across the UK, meaning that the iconic fashion accessories can now be displayed in an open retail environment both safely and securely.
Mulberry chose the CableLok hard tags to deliver enhanced protection thanks to their innovative ‘3 Alarm Technology’. This provides a highly effective means of security without hindering customers’ shopping experience or obscuring any part of the product.
In operation, a first alarm provides early detection, alerting store personnel if the merchandise is tampered with inside the shop, while a second alarm activates the EAS antennae at the store exit.
Finally, a third detection system featuring an extended activation range will self-alarm immediately outside the store if goods are removed from the premises.
Perspectives from the end user
