I’m a strong believer in the value of the work of the Association and the contribution that it does and will make to the future of our industry. It is important to remember that we are a membership organisation and one of our many strengths is in the expertise of our members. As my term as chairman begins, I have a great belief that we have the drive and capability within our staff and our membership to create a bright and prosperous future for our industry. I will certainly do my utmost to ensure that this is achieved.”

David Dickinson, the BSIA’s chief executive, said: “I welcome Stuart’s appointment as chairman of the Association.
