The manufacturer of custom-designed control room fittings have chosen Charles Evett for the newly-created position. The appointment is considered by Lund Halsey to be part of the company’s ‘ambitious expansion plans’.
With previous jobs including the National Air Traffic Control Centre and BAA’s Terminal 5 at Heathrow Terminal, Lund Halsey are keen to move their business further into the broadcast, security, utilities and transport markets.
Appointed by Chris Lund, MD of the firm, Evett has 10 years of experience at Winsted as General Manager.
Lund seems confident that he has chosen the right man for the job: “Charles has the expertise, enthusiasm and energy to successfully drive forward this strategy.”
Lund Halsey’s Kudos and Centra furniture ranges aim to meet client requirements for technical desking and include monitor walls, work-stations, media storage and height-adjustable desks and tables.
Before installation, buyers are offered free design consultations, 3D-CAD drawings and colour rendered images. The company believe that these, together with full project management from design to installation maximises the efficiency of each solution.
