There are three models in the range (colour, day/night and day/night with wide dynamic) and users can choose between MJPEG and MPEG4 compression standards.
Streaming images can be recorded over a network in MJPEG mode and the MPEG4 mode allows operators to view video streams on a standard PC video player like VLC or Quicktime.
Cameras and images can be accessed from any standard browser using an integrated web server while passwords, user-profiles and an integrated firewall aim to protect against unauthorised access.
Each model includes CCD sensors that permit very high light sensitivity, which Bewator claims will help to deliver outstanding images indoors and out, day and night.
