At Fire Expo 2005, Gent by Honeywell will be showcasing the breadth of its fire detection and alarm systems capabilities. The theme of the Gent by Honeywell stand will reflect the current marketing campaign, focusing on the new S-Quad sensor range, a solution for the detection and signaling of fires.
The S-Quad range provides sensor, sounder, speech, and strobe functionality all in one intelligent device, offering major benefits to system specifiers, designers, installers and end-users as the latest sensing and audible/visual alarm signaling technology.
The S-Quad sensor range will also be featured in the ‘New Products Live’ seminar on the 16th and 17th May. Presentations will include live demonstrations of how this sensor differentiates between real smoke and steam, thereby reducing the incidence of false alarms.
Gent will also be launching ‘Vigilon Voice’, a fully distributed Voice Alarm and Public Address system ideally suited for medium to complex networked sites, meeting all site-specific fire plan requirements. This system is designed incompliance with all relevant standards including BS5839: 8.
Gent is now part of Honeywell, a company based in Morristown, New Jersey, USA, with more than 100,000 employees in 95 countries.
