Boon specialises in wireless networking and joined the company’s integrated IT services division, Allcooper Converge, to focus on new business and cross-selling to existing customers.
Having worked in the IT and telecommunication industry for over 20 years, Boon is described as an expert in wireless local area network (WLAN) design and installation. Before moving to Allcooper, he had worked with an un-named major national Cisco distributor.
Allcooper Converge’s Director Martyn Smith described Boon as ‘an excellent catch’.
He said: “His experience and knowledge within the IP networking industry is second to none and I am confident that he will contribute to our strategy of making Allcooper a national player in the integrated services market.
