Octavian provides Institute with fit-for-purpose security

The award-winning security solutions specialist has just been recruited to provide overnight security guarding services at the Welsh Institute of Sport in Cardiff.

The Institute is a high performance centre offering state-of-the-art facilities for sportsmen and women at the top of their game. Owned and operated by the Sports Council for Wales, the Institute is the training base for a number of Olympians and Paralympians.

Its management team works closely with a number of national governing bodies of sport, including the Federation of Disability Sport Wales.

Octavian is also working closely with that team to ensure the latter’s requirements are being met, and is presently advising on other potential opportunities to further improve security at the site.

Prestigious contract win for the company

Commenting on the contract win, Sukhi Ghuman, CEO of Octavian Security, said: “This is a prestigious contract for Octavian. We’re delighted to be able to help the Institute continue to provide first-class facilities to both current and aspiring sportspeople.”

Ghuman concluded: “We’ve built our reputation on providing security for a number of high-profile venues, and are able to use our extensive experience in this sector to tailor our approach to specific sites and locations.”

Octavian Security was recently named the 27th fastest-growing privately owned organisation in the UK by The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 League Table, and is currently a finalist in the National Business Awards competition.
