Optic Vision plans to introduce of a new information security solution, VigilancePro, based on advanced technology developed by Silent Knight.
VigilancePro is a versatile threat management and data loss/information leakage protection solution which enables organisations to implement and enforce security policies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and prevent sensitive data and intellectual property leaving enterprises.
VigilancePro also provides a bridge between the logical and physical security worlds, enabling security countermeasures such as CCTV, access control, RFID and biometrics systems to be integrated and, in turn, allowing organisations to benefit from a holistic approach to securing their information assets, Optic says.

In a related transaction, Optic Vision has secured GB pound 1.75M of expansion capital from international private equity firm, Beringea, enabling the company “to satisfy the growing demand for its services and to launch VigilancePro to the market”.
