Paxton and Texecom to forge new partnership

Paxton has tailored its new access control software specifically for the joint venture.

Net2 v4.21 will now feature brand new technology, allowing the zoning of access control with intruder alarms for sites with multiple areas or buildings to manage.

This innovative relationship between the two firms means a more flexible, easily managed security solution for sites where the level of control required varies from zone to zone, a statement said.

By streamlining the two systems, Paxton and Texecom are offering a system solution that “makes it simple for installers to merge a Texecom intruder alarm wherePaxton Net2 is already fitted, or vice versa”.

The Net2 software upgrade is designed to ensure that the two systems work seamlessly together, making them stronger, and more secure than ever, according to the manufacturers.

Drew Hoggatt, managing director of Paxton, said: “We are delighted that this new collaboration has come to fruition with the release of the new Net2 software.

“Paxton are always looking at new ways to make life easier for installers. By providing the new integration of Net2 with Texecom’s trusted intruder system, we hope to increase revenue opportunities for those that look to offer their customers a more complete security solution.”

Jim Ludwig, managing director of Texecom, said: “Texecom has always been proud to provide the very best products and services to our customers. We are delighted to be partnering with Paxton as they share the same values of innovation, exceptional products and outstanding customer support.”
