Over the last three years, the company’s export sales have increased by 50 per cent, now representing over 55 per cent of the total turnover, resulting in ongoing expansion across all areas of the company.
This is the second time G4Tec has been rewarded for export growth, receiving the Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2001.
Keith Whitelock, chairman and CEO of G4Tec, said: “We are very proud to win the Queen’s Award again. Despite tough market conditions, the contribution and commitment by the employees across all the business areas have ensured we have been able to grow within a highly competitive global market.
G4Tec also attained the ISO 14001 Standard for Environmental Management Systems from the British Standards Institute (BSI) earlier this year.
