The test sessions will be held at various locations and are open to all CCTV managers/end users, installers, specifiers and camera manufacturers wanting to test the performance of a CCTV system under either infrared or white light illumination.
The evening will be a practical test of CCTV lighting with different camera and lens combinations. The test agenda is tailored to incorporate the cameras, lenses and lighting combinations requested by the attendees.
This year’s tests will include a 30 minute presentation on the ‘Art of CCTV Lighting’ plus a practical focus on switching from costly, high energy white light illumination to low energy LED solutions.
Full support material will be provided, along with practical tools (including an ‘energy saving’ calculator).
Using lighting to improve image quality
Speaking about the test nights, Raytec’s Shaun Cutler explained: “These scheduled nights are an opportunity for the industry to test CCTV equipment using CCTV lighting to improve image quality. Installers can use the tests to trial their next installation, consultants and end users can check the integration of different components and camera manufacturers can check the image quality their cameras will provide alongside Raytec’s Adaptive Illumination lighting products.”
Dates for the test nights are 24 February (Leeds), 26 February (Manchester), 10 March (London) and 12 March in Bristol. To reserve a place at any of the test sessions, or to submit a product for testing, please contact Raytec via e-mail: sales@rayteccctv.com
