Recognising excellence within the security guarding sector of the industry, once again the awards highlight the vital contribution security officers are making across the country. As ever, they’re presented in the following categories: Service to the Customer, Outstanding Act, Best Newcomer, Best Use of Technology and Best Team.
Commenting on the regional winners, John Bates – chief executive of the BSIA – commented: “Security officers work in a variety of diverse and challenging environments across the UK, and make an outstanding contribution to British business. This year’s winners have been selected from an extremely high standard of entrants, all of whom have demonstrated the professionalism which exists across the industry. The courageous acts and exemplary levels of customer service demonstrated by our winners further encourages the high standards we expect from our officers and, indeed, the industry as a whole.”
The BSIA’s Security Officer Awards are presented regionally throughout the UK, with the winners going forward to the national judging phase. The national winners will be presented with their awards at the Association’s annual luncheon, to be held on 15 July at the London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane.
The BSIA would like to thank Camberford Law plc – specialist insurance brokers to the security industry – for sponsoring these awards for the eleventh year in succession.
