London-based SecureSeal, part of the OEM Group of Companies, has agreed to integrate wireless RF trailer monitoring technology with the Portuguese company’s flagship telematics in-cab system, providing customers with equipment for checking on both the security and environment of their goods in transit.
The SecureSeal reusable security seal is standard specification on transport fleets for retailers, such as Walmart Brazil, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Massmart and others. The new SecureRF range includes wireless temperature, door and security seal sensors.
Valerio Marques, Frotcom’s chief executive officer said: “This new partnership gives our customers the opportunity to monitor their security seal as well as other components of the trailer, directly with the Frotcom system, without the hassle of installation wiring.”

The new partnership with SecureSeal complements the launch of Frotcom UK, and makes the Frotcom telematics system the only one on the market providing a fully integrated RF monitoring service when using the advanced 868MHz RF equipment.
