With approximately 650 employees, Moore Security has a very balanced and diverse customer portfolio in terms of sizes and vertical markets across the states of Indiana and Kentucky. The acquisition will strengthen Securitas’ position as the market leader in this area.
The acquisition will be consolidated within Securitas AB as of 13 March.
Securitas Security Services North America is one of the company’s three main operating divisions. It operates specialist guarding services in the USA, Canada and Mexico, and iIncludes Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations. The division boasts over 600 branch offices and more than 100,000 employees. Its market share is 16%.
Training and development skills rewarded
Securitas Security Services USA was recently recognised for its outstanding training and development solutions, receiving the coveted Top 125 Award from Training Magazine. The award was presented in Atlanta on 9 February as part of the Training 2009 Conference and Expo.
The judging is based on several criteria including corporate universities, evaluation procedures and internal Best Practice.
