Those special smoke effects were helped by around 20 water based fog generators, courtesy of Concept Smoke Systems – the sister company of security smoke systems manufacturer Concept Smoke Screen – and special effects company Artem.
As well as being used for special effects for the entertainment industry, the systems are also used to simulate smoke in firefighter training, to carry out leak testing, and helping with air visualisation applications.
Concept Smoke Screen says its security smoke systems are designed primarily for internal use, rapidly filling rooms and shop areas to repel and deter intruders. Using a water based fluid mixture, says the company, means that even delicate of goods such as electronics, fabrics and works of art can be protected.
