Tranmer joined the Regulator back in 2003 as assistant director of compliance and investigation.
Since then she has worked across the organisation, fulfilling roles including the post of acting director of operations and deputy director of transition, and has also been responsible for implementation of the compliance strategy, the corporate services review and progressing the transition.
Tranmer has been in the director role on an interim basis since February 2012 following the retirement of Hazel Russell.
Speaking about this new role, Dianne Tranmer said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed director of transition and am very much looking forward to the challenges ahead. I will continue to build on the work that has already been undertaken to successfully effect the transition to a new regulatory regime, and look forward to meeting and working with our many stakeholders in the near future.”
Tranmer was appointed director of transition in May 2012 following an open, national recruitment process.
