SIA ‘Commitment to Regulation’ Conference: programme announced

The Regulator’s day-long ‘Commitment to Regulation’ event takes place on Wednesday 12 October at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel at Sheffield Park in Sheffield, and runs from 10.30 am through until 4.00 pm.

This event follows on from the previous conference in March this year, where the Security Industry Authority’s ‘blueprint’ for a new regulatory regime was outlined and discussed.

This time around, the day will consider the developing proposals for the new regulatory regime, outline progress made since the last conference and offer an opportunity to discuss the security requirements for the Olympic and Paralympics Games 2012.

Running order for the day

The programme has just been announced, and is as follows:

Session 1: ACS and the Future of the Hallmark

Session 2: Individual Applications – The Challenge for Employers
