That’s right, it’s the band Placebo performing ‘Infrared’, a song which goes into great technical detail about this marvellous type of light, which not only assists us in alarm systems, it helps CCTV cameras to perform at night time as well.
It’s about time infrared was celebrated in song. Too often we don’t hear ditties about these aspects of electronic products. I would like to hear more songs about LEDs, for instance.
But enough of my blabbering. Enjoy this late period offering from a band who may have been best off remaining a memory of the late nineties. Or maybe not. You decide. Go on.
