The Facebook chat follows the unveiling of Sony’s IP over Coax hybrid camera at IFSEC 2011.
From 10:30 – 11:30am, visitors will be given unprecedented access to Sony Professional’s video security experts Yu Kitamura (European product manager) and Fumi Kawamura (trade marketing manager) and are invited to join the live discussion.
They can put forward questions about Sony’s video security line-up, its latest technology solutions such as Sony’s IP over Coax hybrid camera, and the different approaches to going hybrid.

Sony’s hybrid camera prototype, showcased at IFSEC 2011, allows simultaneous HD IP and analogue SD outputs through existing coaxial cable infrastructure, and is designed to drive down the costs of switching from analogue to hybrid or full IP security solutions and making a compelling case for security managers to reconsider their position on hybrid solutions.
During the Live Facebook Chat visitors will be given an opportunity to learn more about this new solution as well as ask any questions they may have about the products, the trends impacting the video security industry, and the benefits of different approaches to going hybrid.
