The SSAIB has always operated primarily as a product certification scheme – a scheme that is valued and respected by insurers, installers and end users alike.
The organisation has been working to UKAS guidelines for the past 12 months in order to gain the accreditation, which adds the required amount of credibility to its development plans for the remainder of 2002 and beyond.
