Three rack-mounted Videoswitch Vi 405 DVRs were installed by local firm Wreckin Communications, each with 16 channels and 1500 Mb of storage capacity. They record video from 48 newly-installed cameras throughout the golf course and hotel, which has just undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment.
“Although this was a competitive tender situation, no specific product was specified,” said Wrekin’s John Henderson.
“We had used Videoswitch DVRs on previous projects and knew they represented good value as well as having an impressive range of features and functions. We had the confidence therefore to recommend them to the client.”
Videoswitch also supplied three control keyboards for the Wreckin-designed system. These allow managers and security personnel to access live images and retrieve recorded videos.
