The eLAN and eLITE range of analogue addressable control panels from Kentec subsidiary VES have gained approval by Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL) and Factory Mutual (FM). The company anticipates that these globally recognised approvals will help the range gain even more of a foothold in international markets.
The eLAN and eLITE product offerings include an expanded range of sensors, modules and communication peripherals. Both panels support Apollo analogue detectors and I/O modules, as well as the eVIEW repeater panel, the eMatrix mimetic graphical panel system for zonal fire alarm indication, and the 16 point I/O module. The eLAN product is also approved for networked extinguishant releasing.
Both products can annunciate to remote monitoring centres (via a telephone line) down to sub-point detail using industry standard receiving equipment. Annunciation is also possible through the internet. Programming of the products can be accomplished either through Laptop/CD-Rom or a remote telephone connection. www.kentec.co.uk
