The hotel, a listed 19th century mansion house in Ashdown Forest, east Sussex, now has a “unique universal interface” that connects any security alarm panel to the Universe+ range of wire-less devices such as PIRs, contact switches and break glass sensors.
This enables any existing hard-wired security system to be expanded without the need to install additional cable, no matter what make of control panel is used.
Utilising 868Mhz two-way secure communications, the Universe+ ACU is said to provide a low cost solution for system upgrades that can be installed quickly without disrupting business operation or damaging building fabric.
