Operation of the camera is triggered by movement within its wide field of vision and a distance of more than 200 metres. Images are communicated in real-time, via GPRS, then stored on a host server, where they can be accessed by the customer at any time through a secure web user interface and using their own computer.
The key benefit, according to the manufacturers, is that the cameras are standalone units and can be moved from site to site wherever they are required.
