Keyo Agricultural Services approached Tag Guard Ltd looking for a complete perimeter security and CCTV system integrated with gates, barriers and access control.
Keyo Agricultural were looking for a high level of security but wanted the system operational within a short time and wanted to avoid the ground works and disruption that a cable linked system would necessitate.
The whole system has been provided from Tag Guard’s range of wireless security products.
The perimeter security uses TagAlarm IR70’s infra red detectors in a zoned system to avoid false alarms. Access to the premises is by motorised gates using key fob access control with an access system for the entrance to the offices and other key areas such as the computer suite.
Visitors and unauthorised personnel use an intercom system to talk to the office staff, identify themselves and gain admission. The intercom operates on GSM so a call to the office from the intercom is routed by GSM to the switchboard and, when a visitor is identified, the barrier/gate can be opened by pressing the hash key on the telephone.
The entire site is also covered by TagCam wireless CCTV linked to recording and monitoring equipment in the office area and also via broadband to Tag Guard’s own 24-hour control room.
Mark van den Bos of Keyo Agricultural Services said: “I had not realised that wireless systems could do everything that cable-linked systems do but with a much quicker installation time and the benefit of minimal groundwork needed.”
