30 IPS is important to us. Even if clients don’t need it at the onset, they often want it on a camera by camera basis, if there’s an incident or if storage gets cheaper and they increase hard drive capacity.
It seems that terminal block power supply configuration is going away, and I agree that a plug is less desirable. They often work loose and drop out or go intermittant, causing a troubleshooting service call for the end user.
