The SecuriTest Pro offers new features such as video level and sync testing to measure the strength of the signal coming from the camera.
Also new is audio level testing, allowing engineers to connect cameras to the tester and play audio through an internal speaker which is displayed as an LCD bar-graph style level indicator.
Other features include PTZ camera control, digital multimeter, UTP cable tester, video test pattern generator and PTZ protocol analyser.
General manager of Ideal Industries, Tony Kumeta said having the features in a single, compact device increases installers’ productivity and makes it safer when working at height.
