The new DVTEL Horizon NVR delivers the same reliability and high quality as the company’s powerful Latitude Video Management System, with a feature set targeted specifically at smaller surveillance installations to view, record and play back high-quality video and audio.
Horizon’s intuitive administration setup and operator interface make it easier than ever to deploy and maintain mid-market video surveillance installations of up to 48 cameras. The open-platform NVR takes full advantage of DVTEL’s experience and expertise in enterprise class systems but reconfigures its proven VMS capabilities into a new form factor, allowing integrator partners to tap into the growing mid-market segment.
Horizon is available as a basic NVR Server, an NVR RAID Server or an NVR Workstation, each pre-loaded with Horizon video management software. The ONVIF Profile S-conformant platforms operate seamlessly with a range of third-party edge devices. Several Horizon systems can be monitored from a single control center.
Horizon NVRs feature auto discovery of IP cameras to further streamline installation, and include a browser-based interface to ease operator training requirements. Its rich event logging and reporting capabilities enable rapid response to events while automatic email notifications alert the appropriate personnel when specific alarm thresholds are attained. Horizon also supports guard tours and interactive HTML map support, and integrates with access control via serial port communication.
