In an attack that will win no prizes for subtlety, the thieves stormed into the Ben Bridge jewellery shop in Galleria and smashed open counters with what appeared to be a hammer.
They then filled a rucksack with the goods and left the shop within 30 seconds – all of this happened while the shop was open and serving Christmas shoppers on the evening of December 22nd.
Houston police are still looking for the men in question, who are believed to have fled in a car waiting outside the shopping centre.
