The iGuard is towed into position, and set-up in minutes. It is monitored 24/7 by the iWatch remote monitoring station and removed from site when no longer required. iGuard is only available on a monthly rental basis from selected security installation companies, providing them with an enhanced service opportunity, iWatch says.
iGuard uses advanced 3G CCTV video transmission technology for a wireless network connection, enabling iWatch remote monitoring and control. Trained operators can react instantly to unwanted site activity.
They can ask intruders to leave by speaker or request a police response. A battery back-up and optional built-in LPG generator mean that an entirely stand-alone solution is also available.
Mark Thomas, managing director of iWatch UK, said: “iGuard has been used in the construction industry, by manned guarding companies, local authorities, police forces and the organizers of public events. It is a complete, monitored, 24/7 CCTV solution, delivered next day to almost anywhere in the UK and Ireland.”
