D-Link makes Surveillance Floor Planning Easy

Surveillance these days has gained high precedence with government, businesses, and individuals investing in enhancing the safety & security of the surrounding. D-Link as a leading networking provider has been in the forefront in promoting IP based Surveillance technology, and has been working closely for various surveillance projects with its business associates/ partners/ system integrators present across the country. However one of the key challenges in any surveillance project planning is designing of a perfect solution. In view of the same D-Link has recently introduced ‘Surveillance Floor Planner’.

D-Link Surveillance Floor Planner (SFP) is an online tool developed to simplify and improve the design process of surveillance projects by visualizing camera placement and coverage on floor plans. So now D-Link partners/ system integrators/ pre-sales team after discussion with the clients can use Surveillance Floor Planner to select cameras, simulate camera placement and analyse coverage based on clients’ requirement. As a result partners/ system integrators can now present solutions to clients in a more clear and professional way. With this client will also be able to get hands-on experience of the surveillance solution even before it is installed, and if need be they can also consider modifying or tweaking their requirement.

“Our consistent efforts in Surveillance segment since last couple of years have started yielding positive results, with D-Link IP cameras gaining high acceptance across verticals. Today with changing market dynamics & growing business needs, reaching out to customer in innovative & effective manner is the key. Further empowering our business associates/ partners to meet new age customer needs has always been a priority at D-Link. Now with D-Link Surveillance Floor planner, partners will be in a better position to provide a perfect end-to-end surveillance solution that shall diligently address the security concerns of our customer” said Sanjay Sehgal, VP – Sales, D-Link (India) Ltd.
