Fedja Vehabovic will be in charge of the European CCTV operation, leaving his position as CCTV manager for southeast Europe, while Ian Galloway, formerly of Pelco, has joined JVC’s CCTV operation as sales manager for the UK and Ireland.
Galloway, who has worked in the CCTV industry for the past 27 years, said: “JVC are a well respected brand in the industry and I am excited about the opportunities that our new IP and analogue camera line-ups will undoubtedly generate.”
Vehabovic said he was confident in his team’s ability to help the company achieve better positioning in the CCTV market, helped by innovative new product developments such as the Super LoLux HD IP cameras. “During 2011 we are introducing the Super LoLux H line of V.Networks full-HD CMOS cameras,” Fedja said.
“They offer multi-codec support, including M-JPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264 and feature 600 TV lines along with advanced 14-bit technology. Our new strong team of sales, marketing and support staff will ensure we are well placed to launch these new products and grow the JVC brand.”
