Formed from the privatisation of Her Majesty’s Stationery Office (HMSO), Security Printing and Systems is tasked with producing a wide range of Government-related security documents, some of which are of a highly sensitive nature. Consequently, the team of Galago officers has been tasked with supervising and patrolling the vulnerable waste destruction area where documents are shredded.
Officers are also responsible for searching vehicles and staff, escorting any visitors and contractors around the premises and monitoring images from the site’s dedicated CCTV installation.
The team was put together by operations manager Wayne Beard.
