Wire mesh partitioning supplied by industrial safety specialist Troax (UK) has been used to create a secure storage area for high value merchandise at retail chain Londis’ regional distribution centre located in Andover.
The new storage area was completed during a major refurbishment project at the centre, which serves Londis stores throughout the south west and central southern regions.
In practice, Troax’s Scimitar modular range of industrial mesh partitioning was used to construct the secure store area within an area of pallet racking in the warehouse.
The security cage – which measures some 50 metres by 40 metres and reaches a height of 10 metres – is being used to store alcohol, tobacco and a range of other high value goods.
