David Evans, the 55-year-old managing director of Legion Security, has joined the Editorial Advisory Board of Security Management Today. Following David Dickinson’s appointment as chief executive at the BSIA and David Fletcher’s retirement, we have searched for a top quality candidate to air their views on the manned guarding industry. David fits the bill perfectly.
David first joined the security industry after serving in the Intelligence Corps and Special Forces. He has also held sales and marketing directorships with Sterling Granada, Shorrock Guards and Securicor, and was appointed managing director at Legion back in October 2000.
SMT’s readers will be keen to learn that the BSIA has asked David to give a talk on the subject of racial equality in the guarding industry. The event takes place on 24 June.
