Video for difficult areas

Power over LAN Midspan and Active Splitter from Axis enable network cameras and video servers to be installed in areas where traditional power cabling and outlets are unavailable or difficult to install.
It is said to offer an easier, faster and more cost-effective solution than installing new power outlets and electrical cabling.
Power over LAN allows network-enabled products to receive both data and power over standard Category 5 LAN cabling up to 100m away. This makes it easier and less expensive to install devices where no outlets are readily available. In addition, no electrician is needed.
Power over LAN Midspans together with uninterrupted power supply (UPS) devices allow Axis’ network cameras and video servers to operate even when there is a power failure. For information go to: www.axis.com
