CEM Systems – part of Tyco FIRE and Security’s access control and video systems business unit – has won the contract to supply the integrated security management system at Belfast harbour.
CEM’s AC2000 SE (Standard Edition) system with advanced access control and ID badging will help the client meet its requirements under the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.
Advanced card readers will provide the backbone to the access control system. The Etherprox readers connect directly to the Ethernet, providing an economical way to ‘join’ remote buildings without the need for serial cable.
