The cameras, which will relay images and data to the event HQ and TV networks around the world, are built into the specially designed automatic levelling system to stabilise images in rolling sea conditions. Systems track the horizon so that however the boat pitches and rolls the camera remains horizontal.

Located in the yachts’ stern and mast, the camera used is the Watec RS22 high resolution day/night model, matched with the new Pentax 3~8mm f1.0 day/night varifocal lens with auto iris.
