The acquisition of Gardiner Groupe Europe will strengthen ADI’s distribution scope throughout Europe. Gardiner Groupe Europe, based in Paris, is a leading distributor of CCTV, fire alarm, intruder alarm, access control and PA systems with 75 branches in ten European countries. Over the past couple of years the group has expanded its product portfolio and its reach into new European countries.

Honeywell began expanding its ADI distribution business into Europe last year by emulating ADI’s successful model from the North American market. Gardiner Groupe Europe is being acquired from its owner Electra Partners Europe, a private equity firm. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
