The Viseum Virtual Operator was designed to improve the effectiveness of lower priority cameras. It works by using an array of reference cameras to control a ptz camera, directing it to a specific activity in the areas covered.
The system was trialled by Luton Borough Council on a high rise housing estate and its highly detailed images have resulted in a number of criminal prosecutions.
