The Oxford-based security installer launched the fire brand at its annual Fire and Security exhibition at Oxford’s Lincoln College EPA Centre.
The acquisition strengthens the company’s existing fire proposition.. Prestige has a long history of providing bespoke turnkeye fire protection systems including design installation and maintenance to the private and public sector. MD Chris Lewis said it opened up “exciting opportunities for our company”.
Mr Security has acquired Basingstoke-based Oakley Systems Ltd. It follows MR’s announcement of a 3-5 year expansion plan and its subsequent acquisition of Hoffman Plc. MR chief executive Tony Bygraves said “Oakley are a perfect fit specialising in intruder, CCTV and access control systems mainly within the high end Government sector.”
Jim O’Dwyer, a founder of Oakley with 25 years experience, joins MR as a regional MD at Kingston branch.
