BSIA tackles major issues at IFSEC seminars
Many of the key issues facing the private security industry will be covered by the British Security Industry Association’s annual seminar day at IFSEC, on Tuesday May 22.
“This year’s seminar day will provide visitors to IFSEC with vital information on key trends and forthcoming developments within the security industry,” said BSIA events manager Elaine Hercombe.
“A series of presentations will examine the opportunities and challenges of 2012 for the private security industry. The seminars will also look at issues such as biometric technology, identity fraud and the use of detector-activated, remotely monitored CCTV.”
The morning session of the BSIA seminar day, sponsored by Coversure Insurance Services, will feature presentation from Andrew Amery on behalf of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games, and Tarique Ghaffur, Assistant Commissioner for the Metropolitan Police.
